Full of Noises is pleased to be welcoming If Wet to Cumbria as part of its UK tour. If Wet is a monthly event of sonic exploration, held in a rural Worcestershire village hall; chaired by musical instrument designers David Morton and Sam Underwood (ORE, Glatze) who together form MortonUnderwood. FON regulars will recognise Sam from his tuba-wielding appearances at last year’s festival and our recent show at Café OTO as well as his noise box workshop which kicked off our Piel View hacking sessions back in 2012. Guest presentations for this edition come from sound artist Lee Patterson and iPad improvisors Hugs Bison.

‘Part show and tell, part test bed, part salon, If Wet is a place for artists to showcase their latest sonic works and research. A place for you to revel and discuss. If Wet… was set up when we found ourselves faced with yet another night of mediocre blues covers in a local pub. It’s the classic DIY response. We’ve built it, we hope you will come…”

Details of featured artists and speakers to follow shortly.
