Based in a public park on Cumbria’s Furness Peninsula in the North West UK, Full of Noises provides an incubator for new work, producing and touring commissions from the most innovative of contemporary composers and sound artists. In the last seven years, we’ve hosted performances, installations, residencies, broadcasts and workshops from over two hundred sound artists, musicians and composers.
Help us to continue our ongoing work by making a small donation! Bringing experimental music and sound art to Barrow-in-Furness has always been a challenge, and though we’ve been lucky enough to receive a certain amount of regular funding, we need to raise funds from other sources to match this.
We are hoping to raise up to £2,000 in donations this year as a contribution to our annual programme budget. This will go directly towards artists’ fees and production costs for public events in 2019, with examples including the artists’ residency programme at South Walney Nature Reserve and a series of outdoor sound works for Barrow Park.
All donations over £10 will have the option to receive a print copy of our publication, Remote Possibilities, or a ticket to an event of your choice.
