Full of Noises is a chance to see and hear a programme of new work ranging from the experimental to the traditional and from the surprising and unnerving to the beautiful. Since 2009, we have invited over 100 artists to performor create new work for the festival as well as numerous touring projects and one-off events with artists ranging from Faust, AGF and Philip Jeck to Haco, Hildur Gudnadottir and Lee Gamble.
Joined by guest curators Helen Frosi (SoundFjord) and Ryoko Akama, with design work from Tom James Scott (Skire imprint), this year’s expanded festival programme takes in specially commissioned live performances, talks, installations and workshops by a broad spectrum of composers, musicians and sound artists from across UK, Europe and Japan.
