Communications Manager
Part-time post

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications Manager to join our team as we move from our existing festival model to an ongoing, year-round event series.

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata (0.7)
Reports to: Programme Manager and Artistic Director
Contract: 3 years, fixed term until 31st March 2026
Probationary Period: 6 months.
Hours: Part-time (3 days per week).
Location: Piel View House, Barrow Park, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Please note that the role involves 2 regular days in the office (usually Tues & Thurs) with some weekend and evening working for events. Most events will take place at our in-house events space.

Annual Leave: Standard / 25 days pro rata
Working with: Programme Manager, Artistic Director, Communications Manager, external partners and freelance artists / musicians.
Eligibility: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. All appointments are subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service Check (DBS).

Expected start date: the successful candidate will be expected to take up post w/c 19th June
