Join Full of Noises and invited artists on Barrow Park Bandstand this Summer for a series of open air workshops and performances !

Fri 23rd July, 13:30-14:30, ‘In C’ by Terry Riley, performed by South Lakes Rock School & guests:

Sat 24th July, 12:00 - 17:00: ‘Musical Machines
Play music with specially built DIY instruments including The Higgs Bow Sound Collider by Sam Underwood, The Chaos Machine by Sarah Kenchington alongside a performance from guest artist Lone Taxidermist. All ages are welcome and no musical experience is required!

Weds. 28th July, 14:00-17:00  - Tim Shaw & Dirty Electronics performance & workshop: A sound art performance and workshop on the bandstand focusing on handmade electronic instruments. Tim Shaw and John Richards will be inviting people to build and play with electronic noise makers (ages 12+) and will also give performances throughout the afternoon.

*Please note that in the case of extremely wet or windy weather, these events may be postponed - please check our website for updates before traveling.

**Events will be held within the current Covid guidelines - please note that groups of up to 6 from no more than two households will be admitted onto the bandstand at any one time.
