'Gestures' and 'Captured in Air'

Watch two films that profile Brooklyn-based musician Loren Connors - on what will be his 74th birthday.

This is the second film screening at Piel View House as part of our Light in the Park series.

‘Gestures’ (2017) and ‘Captured in Air’ (2023) provide a great insight into Connors who has recorded and performed under several different names.

His music often features an abstract or experimental version of blues and folk styles.

'Gestures' was directed by Vincent Guilbert.

'Captured in Air' was created by Aki Onda who has worked with Loren Connors for more than two decades.
