PITCH is a portable listening space for sound and performance. Join Full of Noises, Public Works and invited artists on the bowling green at Barrow Park this August for a special programme of family friendly performances, workshops and activities.
Tuesday afternoon includes:
- Music from harpist Mary Borgia, playing something for everyone and improvising along with environmental audio streams.
- FoN’s sonic scavenger hunt, an easy to follow list of sounds to collect from around the park alone or as a team.
- Meet members of Public Works to find out how the structure was designed and built.
Wednesday includes:
- Live music from cellist Maja Bugge
- A chance to hear audio streams from across Europe and beyond inside Pitch on a multi-speaker system,
- Join in with homemade instruments in response to the graphic scores that appear on the hand printed canopies.
- There will also be a chance to print and take home your own cyanotype.
