Join us as we explore experimental music and sound on Wednesdays throughout summer.
Drop into Piel View House in the heart of Barrow Park - and bring the family!
We'll have a series of FREE sessions to keep you occupied and explore sounds from around the world...
2 August: Bird Bath - get comfy in our performance space and immerse yourself in bird song at this drop in session for all ages. Bird mask making activity for young ones.
9 August: The Odd Orchestra - come and play the instruments of our odd orchestra! Broken accordians, electric chopping boards, single gauge guitars and much more.
16 August: The Fungus are Among Us - Join artist Rema Grace Gifford of Mycelium Thinking in this fungi based musical drop-in session. What sound does a mushroom make?
23 August: Radio Workshop with sound artist Tim Shaw. Drop in to this creative workshop to make a radio which will be placed in the park on the 24th and transmitted from the lake.
30 August: The Spanner Gamelan - Join Programme Director Andrew Deakin and his Spanner Gamelan for some percussive fun!
